The 2020 Mercedes-Benz CLA offers powerful performance starting at $36,650 MSRP. The CLA features a 2.0L inline-4 turbo engine that outputs 221 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The advanced coupe also comes standard with a 7G-DCT 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The C-Class is equipped with the same engine as the CLA but is fitted with a 9G-Tronic 9-speed transmission. The C-Class offers 255 horsepower, 273 lb-ft of torque, and a 0-60 acceleration in just 5.9 seconds. Both coupes come with Dynamic Select, which allows drivers to choose between five different modes, including Eco, Comfort, Sport, Sport+, and Individual. Yes! Both vehicles offer Parking Assist Packages. For the CLA, it’s an additional $1,090. For the C-Class, it’s an additional $1,150.
The 2 Series is a cheaper vehicle starting at $35,300, but you also lose the performance and efficiency that comes standard with the C-Class. The BMW comes standard with a smaller engine and ultimately less power and speed capabilities.
The 2021 Mercedes-Benz hasn’t hit the market just yet. Some car review sites anticipate it to be released sometime this summer and feature the same sleek design of the 2020 coupe with a few minor changes.
