One of the first differences Marion and Sumter drivers will notice is the addition of the Mercedes-Benz 4MATIC® AWD system in the sedan’s name. The only thing that differentiates the two E 350 models is that the lower trim level isn’t equipped with the 4MATIC® system. The 4MATIC® AWD system engages all four wheels for more traction on slippery roads and better cornering. The E 350 isn’t equipped with 4MATIC®, but the E-450 has 4MATIC® Permanent All-Wheel Drive. That means the system is continuously sending power to all four wheels for a smoother ride. While this system is excellent on any surface, it’s a necessity for adventurous drivers.
